BTS Jimin ranked 30th on Billboard's "Hot 100"...Solo's highest rank

BTS member Jimin has set a new record on the Billboard main chart.

According to the latest chart released by Billboard on April 1 (local time), Jimin's first solo album "FACE" track "Set Me Free Pt. 2," which was released on March 17, entered the Hot 100 main single chart at No. 30.

With this achievement, Jimin not only enters the Hot 100 for the second time with his solo work, but also sets his personal best ranking.

"Set Me Free Pt. 2" ranked high on various charts including Digital Song Sales, World Digital Song Sales (No. 1 for both), Global (excluding the US) (No. 5), and Global 200 (No. 8). In addition to "Set Me Free Pt. 2," Jimin's other solo songs such as "Promise" (No. 3), "Filter" (No. 5), and "Christmas Love" (No. 11) also topped the World Digital Song Sales chart.

In addition, "Set Me Free Pt. 2" debuted at No. 30 on the UK Official Chart, which is considered one of the world's two major pop music markets along with Billboard. This is the highest debut ranking among Korean solo artists.

"FACE" tells the story of Jimin's sincere emotions over the past two years, while fully facing himself and preparing for a new start as an artist. The title track "Like Crazy" is a synth-pop genre song that contrasts Jimin's poignant vocals with strong synth and drum sounds.

The album recorded over one million in sales on the day of its release, becoming the first solo artist to achieve million-seller status on the first day.

Meanwhile, BTS's anthology album "Proof" ranked 195th on the main album chart "Billboard 200" and continued its chart run for 41 consecutive weeks.
