BTS member Jimin's live appearance on 'Inkigayo' cancelled

BTS member Jimin's live appearance on 'Inkigayo' has been cancelled.

On April 1, Star News exclusively reported that Jimin's live appearance on SBS 'Inkigayo' scheduled for April 2 has been cancelled. Instead, a pre-recorded performance of his solo title track 'Like Crazy' will be aired on that day.

Jimin released his first solo album 'FACE' on March 24 and has been promoting the title track 'Like Crazy' on music shows.

Jimin had announced his schedule to appear on various shows, starting with Mnet's 'M! Countdown' on March 30, KBS 2TV's 'Music Bank' on March 31, and 'Inkigayo' on April 2, showcasing his new song 'Like Crazy'.

Previously, he appeared on live broadcasts of 'M! Countdown' and 'Music Bank', where he won first place and shared his joy with his fans (ARMY) by expressing his gratitude. There is a high expectation for Jimin's candidacy and winning on the April 2nd 'Inkigayo'. For now, fans will only be able to watch Jimin's performance on that day.

Meanwhile, Jimin's 'FACE' album has recorded more than 1.45 million sales as of March 31, according to the Hanteo Chart, making it the highest first-week sales for a K-pop solo artist and achieving the "million-seller" record on the first day of release.

'FACE' also ranked number one on the Japanese Oricon weekly album chart for March 20-26, and 'Like Crazy' ranked 8th on the UK Official Chart for the week of March 31-April 6, one of the world's top two pop charts.
