Cherry blossoms in Korea typically bloom from late March to early April. Since the Korean peninsula stretches from north to south, the blooming time varies slightly by region. It usually starts in Seogwipo, Jeju Island and progresses to Busan, Changwon, Seoul, Incheon, Chuncheon, and other regions. It takes about a week from blooming to full bloom, which is known as the "peak cherry blossom season".
