ASTRO's Moonbin passes away at 25, leaving behind "sorrow and shock."

K-pop group ASTRO's member Moonbin has passed away suddenly at the age of 25. On April 19th, Moonbin was found dead at his residence in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. His manager reported the incident to the police, who are currently investigating the exact cause of his death, suspecting that he made an extreme choice. The mortuary was set up at the Seoul Asan Hospital.

Fantagio, Moonbin's agency, announced, "ASTRO's member Moonbin has suddenly left us and become a star in the sky on April 19th." The company expressed their condolences to Moonbin's family, fellow ASTRO members, and everyone at Fantagio, all of whom are in great shock and sorrow. They also apologized to fans for delivering such sudden news.

The agency stated that the funeral will be held privately, attended only by family members, relatives, and company colleagues. Moonbin, born in 1998, started as a child fashion model and made his acting debut in the 2009 KBS 2TV drama "Boys Over Flowers" as a child actor for Kim Bum. He debuted as a singer in 2016 with the five-member boy group ASTRO and had been actively promoting with the unit Moonbin & Sanha.

After Moonbin's death, Fantagio announced the cancellation of the remaining "DIFFUSION" fan meetings, including in Macau, Taipei, Jakarta, Tokyo, and Osaka. Moonbin's younger sister, Moon Sua, is a member of the girl group Billie. Moonbin's sudden death has shocked fans worldwide, who are expressing their shock and sadness on social media and mourning his passing.
