 Girl group Red Velvet's Joy will temporarily suspend her activities and will not participate in the recording of SBS 'TV Animal Farm' on the 26th.


According to Donga.com's investigation, Joy will not participate in the recording of 'TV Animal Farm' starting today. She has expressed her intention to the production team to consider stepping down. As a result, the 'TV Animal Farm' production team is discussing whether it will be a temporary or permanent departure. Joy's complete departure is also a possibility depending on her health status, as it cannot be guaranteed when she will return. In the meantime, Joy's absence from 'TV Animal Farm' will be filled by a temporary arrangement.


SM Entertainment, Joy's agency, previously announced her hiatus through an official statement. SM Entertainment said, "Joy recently visited the hospital due to poor condition, and after consultation and examination, she received the medical opinion that she needs treatment and rest." They added, "Joy plans to rest and focus on recovering her condition without participating in her schedule for the time being."
